FORMER CHIEF MINISTER OF BALOCHISTAN ALLUDDIN MARRI MEETS THE NEW CONUSUL GENERAL OF CHINA MR YANG YUNDONG IN KARACHI

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a major infrastructure project and can bring economic growth and development to Balochistan by improving infrastructure, creating job opportunities, and enhancing trade, this was stated by former Chief Minister of Balochistan Alluddin Marri while meeting the new Consul General of the People’s Republic of China Mr Yang Yundong in Karachi, Marri expressed his optimism that the benefits of CPEC will be shared among the local population, he particularly thanked the People’s of Republic China for giving special consideration to the Socio-Economic Development of Balochistan, he also mentioned that Balochistan province has strategic significance as it borders with Afghanistan and Iran where China has reached with Belt & Road Initiative – BRI.
