Provincial Amir of Jamiat Balochistan Former Federal Minister Maulana Abdul Wasi while addressing the ongoing sit-in in Chaman said that we believe the demands of this sit-in are based on reality and assure full support and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam. The workers are standing side by side with you, criticizing the caretaker government and saying that instead of creating problems for the tribes that have been living for thousands of years, it needs to be seriously considered. Thousands of people are participating in it and they demand that passport visas are not accepted at the Chaman border and that the tribes living on both sides of the Chaman should be allowed to travel in the old way and the Lugri people, who number in thousands, should be allowed to work on the border so that The people of the border area can continue their work here, there are no employment opportunities here. Representatives of various political, tribal and social organizations also addressed the sit-in. Deliberately closing the doors of employment to them is an act of state cruelty which cannot be condemned as much as it is. But there is no arrangement for employment outside the border. Jamiat Ulema Islam is with you in this difficult time and I pay tribute to all the political tribal social organizations participating in the current sit-in and the people of Chaman for this historic unity and agreement and Jamiat Ulema Islam Chaman. We strongly support the fundamental rights of the oppressed people, strongly oppose the introduction of the passport system and allow the movement of old CNIC cards and Boldak Tazkira and solve the problems of the people instead of harassing them further…
