Islamabad (PR). Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (SDLG) of China has shown their interest in investing in Mining and agriculture sectors in Pakistan and Announced to Establish of open outlets for their products in Pakistan. Mr Wang Chairmain One belt one road Construction private limited of China & Mr kang Wei Director of Sales from Shangdong linggong group said that SDLG briefed their company and entering the Pakistani market and interest in investment in sectors in Pakistan and said that SDLG is a large owned enterprise group engaged in five industries, i.e., the electromechanical and hydraulic industry, light power industry, vehicle industry, international trade industry, and production & service industry. Jincheng Corporation is a hi-tech enterprise, He said this while talking to Mirza Abdul Rehman, Chairman Coordination, FPCCI Capital Office, Islamabad, and Mr. Qurban Ali, President Nagar Chamber during the visit to FPCCI Capital Office yesterday. during the meeting Mirza Abdul Rehman, Qurban Ali & members of delegation of SDLG discuss the various bilateral trade and economic related issued between Pakistan and China to explore business opportunities in different sectors including Mining, Technology, Construction, agriculture, etc.
While welcoming the delegation, Mirza Abdul Rehman, Chairman Coordination FPCCI Capital office, Islamabad briefed the Chinese delegation about the potential areas of joint ventures and investment in various sectors of Pakistan’s economy. He said that CPEC has started a new era of development and long-term business partnerships between Pakistan and China. He said that Pakistan was establishing many special economic zones under CPEC and it was a good opportunity for Chinese companies to transfer technology to Pakistan and set up joint ventures in areas of interest. He assured that FPCCI would help connect the Chinese investors with the right partners in Pakistan.
Mirza Abdul Rehman, Chairman Coordination Federation Of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), capital Office Islamabad, highlighted the contribution of China to the economic development and prosperity of Pakistan. He assured the delegation of full cooperation from FPCCI and the government of Pakistan and said that Pakistan is a very rich country in natural resources and many foreign companies are working on various projects of minerals and mining. He also highlighted the potential all over Pakistan including Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and other areas of the country, including mining, construction, transport, energy, and other sectors, and invited the chines companies to take benefit from this profitable investment in Pakistan.
Mr. Qurban Ali, President Nagar Chamber of Commerce & Industry said that many sectors of Pakistan’s economy including real estate, Agriculture, construction, building materials, energy, and infrastructure development offered lucrative investment opportunities to foreign investors and urged that Chinese investors should bring technology and machinery to Pakistan to set up industrial units. He stressed the importance of interaction between business people, expansion of trade, and creation of joint ventures.
Qurban Ali, further said that construction, Mining & Agricultuer is a growing industry in Pakistan and it was the right time for the Chinese companies to enhance their presence in Pakistan in the construction sector to achieve lucrative outcomes. Both sides exchanged views on promoting business cooperation in various fields to achieve mutually beneficial results for the economies of Pakistan and China.
