QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has emphasized that we want to prepare our children for future, therefore, it is necessary for us to enable them to cope with the challenges of future instead of letting them live in the past.
He urged the parents to seek guidance from new books for education and grooming of their children.
He said while the development is continued for development of science and technology and it is not going to stop for us.
On one hand, we have to keep abreast the parents with new needs and emerging circumstances, while on the other hand, we have to provide them necessary facilities besides putting the education on modern lines in view of the fast development of the science and technology, adding he stressed.
The Governor was speaking to different delegations who called on him here at the Governor House on Monday.
He said that wastage of any of a child is equal to loss of the whole nation.
He regretfully pointed out that majority of parents lack the ability of grooming of the children according to requirements of the modern era because of the social backwardness.
If fewer people want to do something for the society in this regard, then the economic conditions and financial hardships become hurdles in their way, the Governor maintained.
He said it is also a sorrowful reality that the parents have left their responsibilities at the teachers and educational institutions giving up their responsibilities, and at same time, teachers consider themselves to be responsible according to the curricula, he regretfully pointed out.
While on the other hand, the way ever changing world is progressing, the survival of our children doesn’t seem in it, he noted with concern.
Under the given circumstances, the concerned institutions have to work for saving new generation from being irrelevant and breaking the present status quo, adding he stressed.
