CM MOHSIN NAQVI MAKES A SUDDEN ARRIVAL IN MULTAN, VISITS NISHTAR HOSPITAL

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi suddenly reached Multan and visited Nishtar Hospital-II. Mohsin Naqvi inspected the outdoor, under construction emergency, waiting area, administration block and radiology department. CM Mohsin Naqvi also visited pharmacy, operation theatres, CT scan and the basement. Secretaries of Health and C&W departments gave a briefing about ongoing construction activities in the hospital. Mohsin Naqvi directed to early complete construction and other matters along with making functional Nishtar Hospital-II. Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that Nishtar Hospital-II is a dire need of the people of Multan and of the people from surrounding areas. Load on Nishtar Hospital will be reduced with the completion of Nishtar Hospital-II. CM Mohsin Naqvi while talking with the media after the visit apprised that OPD and other wards are functioning in Nishtar Hospital-II adding that Nishtar Hospital-II project will be completed by 31st December. Credit should be given to the hospital and doctors on treating the children beyond capacity. The treatment of 900 children despite the capacity of 300 in the hospital is appreciable. The hospital and the doctors did not send the patients back coming to the hospital. Principally doctors are not duty bound for providing treatment after filling up the capacity of hospital. People from Balochistan and Sindh are also coming to the hospitals in Multan for their treatment. South Punjab Secretariat will be completed and the administration as well as concerned institutions are working day and night in this regard. Children Hospital emergency will be completed by the end of December. Positive results are surfacing after revamping the hospitals.
