LAHORE, : Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi soon after Sahiwal visit paid a visit to Marakka Interchange SL-III Project. WFO officials while giving a briefing to CM Mohsin Naqvi about the project apprised that joint survey and route clearance work has been 100 percent completed. 20 percent work on 8 bridges, 5 sub-ways and 14 drainage routes has been completed. 20 million feet mud subway has been completed for the construction of road. A subway with 88 million feet mud will be constructed on the 8 kilometre long road. CM Mohsin Naqvi after visiting the Southern loop-III and while talking with the media said that Southern loop-III is a mega project of Lahore and will be opened for the citizens after its early completion We would take all possible steps for the early completion of Southern loop-III project. Joining the Marakka Interchange SL-III and SL-IV is of great significance. The traffic going to Lahore-Kasur and coming from South Punjab will be provided a great ease. CM apprised that Marakka Interchange SL-III will joint together with the SL-IV to be built in future. I have visited Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur and my team continuously visit different cities. If I do not reach any place than my team reaches over there. CM Mohsin Naqvi stated that the next cabinet meeting will be held in some other divisional headquarters instead of Lahore. It is our utmost effort to overcome smog. Water is sprinkled on the site of every project including Marakka Interchange SL-III Project. Consultation with the specialists have been held for the eradication of smog and final decision has yet to be made in this regard. Future decisions will be taken in consultation with the specialists keeping in view the level of smog. Decisions with regard to smog will be made in the next cabinet meeting but every decision will be conditional with the level of smog. Chief Secretary, IG Police, Secretary C&W, FWO officials were also present on the occasion.
