CM MOHSIN NAQVI VISITS SAHIWAL, INAUGURATES LAND RECORD E-REGISTRATION SYSTEM, VISITS HOSPITAL

LAHORE,  : Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi reached Sahiwal in connection with divisional headquarters visit. CM Mohsin Naqvi formally inaugurated Sahiwal Land Record Registration System. CM Mohsin Naqvi announced construction of a cardiology hospital consisting of 180-beds in Sahiwal along with construction and repair of Sahiwal-Pakpattan dual road and ordered early completion of the old GT Road project passing through the city. CM Mohsin Naqvi under PICIP ordered to restart the 250 million dollars pending project for the construction and progress in the Sahiwal city. CM directed early completion of the N-5 pending bridge project. Mohsin Naqvi after inaugurating digitalization of Revenue Record monitored e-registration system and witnessed the documents obtaining process. CM was informed during the briefing that e-registration, all documents of land record will be available on-line. Tax evasion will be prevented and the citizens will get themselves rid of visiting the record centre time and again. CM Mohsin Naqvi presided over a high-level meeting regarding development projects as well as law & order. CM announced construction and repair of Sahiwal-Pakpattan dual road. He directed to early complete the old GT Road adding that construction, repair and restoration work of the Sahiwal roads should be completed at the earliest. CM disclosed that we would allocate resources for the upgradation of distict headquarters hospital Sahiwal. CM ordered to adopt a zero tolerance policy with regard to burning crops stubble in order to overcome smog hazard. CM Mohsin Naqvi under intermediate cities improvement investment programme reviewed progress on the ongoing development projects in Sahiwal division. Progress on the ongoing programme with the cooperation of Asian Development Bank was reviewed. CM Mohsin Naqvi presided over a meeting with regard to land digitalization plus project in which progress on the ongoing programme with the cooperation of World Bank was reviewed. Commissioner Sahiwal gave a briefing about public welfare project. RPO Sahiwal apprised about measures being taken for improving law & order situation. CM while ordering to launch a massive crackdown against the criminal elements and gangs stated that all possible resources would be provided to the police in order to control crimes. CM Mohsin Naqvi also visited teaching hospital Sahiwal. He reviewed treatment facilities in the hospital, inquired after the health of patients and inquired from them about the medical tests. CM ordered to return the money back to the patients on receiving complaints from the patients about non-provision of medicines and getting them from outside the hospital. He directed to ensure provision of free medicines to the patients. CM ordered to again make functional some air conditioners shut down in few wards. CM after inspecting the building agreed to make it a separate cardiology hospital and directed to functionalize the cardiology hospital till December. CM Mohsin Naqvi ordered to immediately complete N-5 bridge pending project and stated the Punjab government would provide necessary funds for the early completion of the pending bridge. Funds amounting to Rs.40 crores will be immediately allocated. Later, CM Mohsin Naqvi while talking with the media at District Headquarters hospital stated that 250 million dollars project in the Sahiwal city is pending for the last 3 to 4 years which has been started again.
