In the region of Sambaaza, Balochistan, an intercepted audio message from a TTP (Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan) commander reveals the following:

“We were en route to Sambaaza when the military ambushed our group. It appears that someone had provided information about our movements to the military. As a result, four of our men were killed, and their bodies were left behind.

While retreating, we managed to bring along the bodies of three of our men. Our entire tashkeel has suffered severe injuries and is currently in a dire condition.”
