Balochistan Government rejects BNP leaders allegations about grand operation in Wadh

Independent Report

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has firmly rejected the allegations made by BNP-Mengal Leader Agha Hassan Baloch regarding an alleged grand operation in Wadh.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the government said that the allegations were baseless and that efforts had been made to defuse the situation. The statement also said that Sardar Akhtar Mengal, the BNM-Mengal Leader, had been consulted and informed about the matter on separate occasions and to which he gave his consent.
The statement further said that Sardar Mengal had suggested two representatives from his party to attend meetings, but that these representatives had failed to attend and had disregarded the instructions of their Party Chief.
The statement said that this raised questions about their loyalty and adherence to party guidelines.
The statement called on Sardar Mengal to investigate why his instructions had not been followed by his representatives, as it may indicate a loss of control over his party.
The statement assured that no grand operation would be conducted, as maintaining law and order was of utmost importance to the government.
The statement added that, despite any differences, the government held great respect for Sardar Akhtar Mengal, who is a seasoned politician in Balochistan.
