Over 2,330 KG charas seized; four arrested:

QUETTA: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled major bid of smuggling of huge quantity of narcotics from Chaman to interior Sindh via Quetta on Monday.
According to ANF spokesman, over 2,330 kilogram of charas was being smuggled by a truck load of mixture of cement when it was intercepted by a team of ANF intelligence. During the thorough checking, the ANF team recovered the huge quantity of narcotics concealed in the hidden area of the cement mixture.
Two accused were also arrested from the truck. In addition to this, a car was also impounded which was clearing the passage for the truck load of narcotics. Two more accused riding in the car were also apprehended. All four accused belonged to Quetta, Chaman and Killa Abdullah.
During the interrogation, the narcotics was being smuggled from Chaman to the interior Sindh.
A case has been registered against the alleged smuggled and further investigations is in progress.
The ANF spokesman also told that the arrested accused are being interrogated for arrest of more smugglers included in the gang.
