‘Knock the Door’ campaign of Islamabad police in full swing

ISLAMABAD,  : The Islamabad Capital Police is executing the “Knock the Door” campaign, aimed at registering employees and tenants and its team are visiting door to door for the purpose.

A spokesperson for the police department revealed that teams are actively canvassing neighbourhoods, going door-to-door to ensure the registration of both tenants and domestic workers, while also addressing citizens’ concerns.

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Islamabad has already registered data for 178 house servants across 592 houses within Sumbal Police Station’s jurisdiction during the last 24 hours.

The primary objective of this campaign is to bolster law and order in the federal capital, reducing the likelihood of untoward incidents.

Registering tenants and domestic workers not only enables better monitoring of potential wrongdoers but also deters those with malicious intent.

The citizens are encouraged to request the identity of any individual appearing in civilian clothing who arrives at their residence to collect data.

The rationale behind this initiative is to minimize the risk posed by unregistered employees and tenants, who might engage in serious criminal activities, such as theft and robbery while posing as ordinary citizens.

Islamabad Capital Police is committed to utilizing all available resources to create a secure environment for the capital’s residents.
