Punjab government approves free metro bus and OLMT rides for disabled

Lahore,  : Provincial Minister of Transport, Ibrahim Murad, announced that the Punjab government has introduced significant relief measures for the disabled, senior citizens, and students. Under the chairmanship of Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, the 25th cabinet meeting of the Punjab Cabinet held in Multan at the South Punjab Secretariat has approved free public transportation services.

In this regard, Minister Ibrahim Murad stated that individuals with disabilities, senior citizens, and students can now avail free rides on the Metrobus service and Orange Line Metro Train. The Punjab government is taking such initiatives to enhance the well-being of the public and provide them with convenience. The provincial minister further mentioned that in this time of high inflation, such free transportation facilities will lessen the difficulties faced by the citizens in urban areas.
