QUETTA: Caretaker Provincial Minister for Home chairs meeting on law and order
meeting; reviews security plan for protection of life, property of citizens
The caretaker Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Captain (Retd) Mir Zubair Jamali has presented salute to the sacrifices of police jawans for establishing law and order in the province.
The caretaker Minister was speaking on occasion of his visit to the Central Police Office here on Monday.
Zubair Jamali chaired meeting on law and order situation in Quetta and other parts of the province, at CPO.
The Inspector General of Police, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, Additional Inspector General of Police, Deputy Inspector general of Police and other senior police officials were in attendance at the meeting.
The Additional IGP briefed the caretaker Minister about the overall situation of law and order in Quetta city.
Moreover, the meeting also reviewed the steps and security plan for protection of life and property of the masses.
It was stressed to ensure implementation on the security plan in this regard.
In addition to this, the matters related to prevention of street crimes, narcotics, smuggling, traffic issues in detail.
Earlier, the IGP welcomed the caretaker Minister Home on his arrival at CPO.
He was also presented guard of honour by the smartly turned out contingent of police.
