QUETTA: The crackdown has been started against the illegal Afghan and other national immigrants in the provincial metropolis.
The SSP Operations Jawad Tariq informed the media that as many as 94 illegal Afghan immigrants were arrested under the Foreign Act.
Cases have been registered against the illegal Afghan inhabitants in different police stations, informed SSP Operations.
Moreover, data of the Afghan refugees is also being collected in different police stations of Quetta. The data of some 22,000 Afghan inhabitants have been collected so far, Jawad Tariq added.
In addition to this, the information about the properties, business and jobs is also being collected SSP Operations further told.
He said that the state policy would be truly followed and implemented regarding the refugees.
SSP Operations also said that the action would be taken against the illegal Afghan immigrants residing without valid legal documents and registration as per the state’s policy after November 1, 2023.
