77TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS UNDERWAY IN BALOCHISTAN

 

QUETTA, AUGUST 10: The 77th Independence Day celebrations are underway across Balochistan. To promote a soft image of Balochistan through sports, students from educational institutions across the province are participating in events to be held on August 14.

A hockey tournament among educational institutions of Quetta Division kicked off at the Nawab Bugti Stadium in Quetta. Provincial Minister for Education, Rahila Durrani, was the chief guest, accompanied by Nawabzada Rais Raisani and Saad Amin.

Provincial Minister for Education, Rahila Durrani, said that Pakistan came into existence due to the countless sacrifices of our ancestors. The Education Department, Balochistan, is organizing competitions across the province as part of the Independence Day celebrations to promote a soft image of Balochistan and bring forth talented players.

She further added that the aim of these events is to showcase the talent of Balochistan’s youth and to promote a positive image of the province. The minister appreciated the enthusiasm and participation of students in the tournament and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in sports.
