15 cases of gas theft worth over 1.5 billion

Joint teams comprising FIA, police, and Sui Gas officials are taking action against gas thieves in Peshawar and other districts. So far, over 8,000 direct connections have been disconnected, and 15 cases of gas theft worth over 1.5 billion rupees have been detected. The authorities have also recovered 4 underground connections and disconnected over 1,000 meters without records. The Federal Minister, Mushaq Malik, has directed that gas theft be stopped at all costs. The operation against gas thieves is ongoing, with police and FIA providing full cooperation. Citizens are urged to report any instances of gas theft to the helpline 119.
