*Quetta Oct 24* Two officials have been transferred: Dr. Tahira Kamal, Division Director Health Services Kalat, is now Medical Superintendent Teaching Hospital Khuzdar, while Dr. Nooruz Khan, Medical Superintendent Teaching Hospital Khuzdar, takes on a new role as Medical Officer (B-17) and Deputy Medical Superintendent Teaching Hospital.
Additionally, Provincial Minister of Health Bakht Muhammad Kakar has ordered action against absent health staff. During a recent visit to Prince Abdul Karim Khan Hospital in Kalat, pharmacist Waqar Ahmed Kakar was found absent without notice. The Minister directed the Secretary of Health to take disciplinary action against him.
It’s clear the government is cracking down on absenteeism and reshuffling key positions to improve healthcare services in the region.
