A FABRICATED AND BASELESS NEWS ABOUT CM PUNJAB MARYAM NAWAZ AIRES ON A PRIVATE NEWS CHANNEL: AZMA BOKHARI.

Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari said that fabricated and baseless news about Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has been aired on a private news channel. Before airing the news, Chief Minister Office, the spokesperson of the Punjab Government, and the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly was not asked. She said that we don’t care when the Tanga party would hold a Jalsa and how many people come. Action will be taken against the channel running such fabricated news. Running false news by attributing it to the Chief Minister of Punjab is tantamount to journalistic malpractice. It is shameful to use the media platform as a propaganda cell of a political party. The news channel aired fake news should apologize otherwise legal action will be taken.
