A 12-year-old girl, Asma Rahiri, was allegedly raped by five men in Shikarpur’s Ibrahimicenter area. The perpetrators left the unconscious girl in the neighborhood and fled. Lakheidar Police have arrested one suspect, Ajab Jatoi.
According to the victim, she was abducted while buying milk and taken to a nearby betting shop where she was assaulted. She identified Ajab Jatoi as one of the perpetrators and claimed she could recognize the other four.
The victim’s parents demanded severe punishment for the culprits, calling the incident a grave injustice.
Police have initiated an investigation and are searching for the remaining suspects.
This incident highlights concerns about child safety and the need for stringent measures against sexual violence.
