CM PAYS A VISIT TO THE PITB HEAD OFFICE, COMMENDS THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WHOLE TEAM

Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi visited the Head Office of Punjab Information Technology Board at the Arfa Karim Software Technology Park. CM commended the Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf and his whole team on showing exemplary performance.CM also distributed commendation certificates among the officers displaying meritorious performance and lauded the performance of the whole PITB team on undertaking numerous steps for the facilitation of the people. Mohsin Naqvi announced a special prize of rupees 3 crore for the whole PITB team. CM while addressing the ceremony acknowledged that PITB has delivered beyond their capacity as any project of any institution was not possible to be accomplished without the assistance of PITB. PITB accomplished mega projects within the stipulated timeline. Work remains ongoing in the PITB even late at night and in the morning as well. This institution is entirely different from other traditional government institutions. CM stated that he gives full credit to the Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf on successful accomplishment of all the public welfare projects. Faisal Yousaf and his whole team deserve due commendation. The people have no concern with mere announcements or statements but rather they feel satisfied on witnessing practicable steps for their welfare. The people expect from the government to deliver for them and they only want service delivery. Our government has introduced Hospital Information Management System with the cooperation of PITB in the hospitals. PITB made a software for the driving license in only two weeks. Faisal Yousaf and his team worked day and night in order to make the driving license software. Mohsin Naqvi stated that he apprised the US Consul General about the PITB projects on which he expressed his pleasant surprise on the latest feature of PITB. PITB is not only a provincial or a national level institution but also an international level institution. By the Grace of Allah Almighty, PITB will acquire Safe City projects from a foreign country. PITB is rendering far better services than the private sector. CM acknowledged that PITB worked day and night and delivered to the optimum. The result of their hard work is being enjoyed by the people. If the PITB continue to work with the same noble intention then no one can stop it from making further progress. The HR of PITB is excellent and I greatly appreciate the performance of PITB. CM expressed his best wishes for the PITB so that it can be given international projects. Provincial Minister for Information Amir Mir, Chairman P&D Board, Secretary Information, DGPR and PITB officers were also present on the occasion.
